The paper was written together with three highly esteemed international colleagues Hazel Brown, Ruth van der Looven and Emily Ho. We report which patient reported outcome measures for brachial plexus birth injury were endorsed during the international survey.

We will soon start the third round on Patient Reported Outcome (PRO) measures for use with children who have a Brachial Plexus Birth Injury (BPBI).
We were pleased to have analysed results from 36 centers that completed the first round on PRO measures, and 26 in the second round on PRO measures.
A number of conclusions have been reached, but we need to further narrow down your preferred PRO.
In the current round you will only have the choice between the two options that had the most votes in the previous round. This round only has 4 questions, and one general comment field. We hope for a speedy response.

An invitation e-mail was sent today to recruit participants for the fourth iPluto round of surveys. The goal for this 4th round is to aim for consensus on which PROMs are suitable to evaluate function and daily life extremity use for children with Birth Brachial Plexus Injury.

Because the Third Round is still in progress, we remain curious on this round’s important results. We noticed that it takes more reminders to encourage respondents, so we leave the questionnaire available a little longer…
